I never thought to move to Spain permanently. It started with shorter stays, 3 months in Asturias, a year on Erasmus, an internship at the University of Almería, until various life events moved me there for a much longer time than I ever thought, and for which I am extremely happy in the end. After finishing my studies in the Czech Republic, I found a job in Barcelona and was there for another 3 years.
