My story

My story

My story begins with my first travel to Spain during a university exchange program. What started as a short visit turned into almost six years in Spain, during which I completed my Master’s degree in Spanish Philology and Hispanic Literature. Later, living in the vibrant city of Barcelona, I discovered yoga and decided to complete my yoga teacher training. While traveling, I realized my deep love for the ocean, which led me to try surfing — an experience that quickly became both a challenge and a true love. Since then, all my travels have shared something in common: new surfing spots, yoga practice, and surf/yoga communities. These experiences shaped my values and life vision: connection, mindful movement, curiosity, and letting the ocean inspire and guide me. Today, I share these passions through yoga classes, surf and yoga retreats, and Spanish learning experiences, helping others move their bodies, open their minds, and connect with the world around them.

International Experience

International Experience

I spent two years in Canada, working as a yoga teacher and at an international school, where I supported international students with their study programs. I also spent one year in New Zealand teaching Spanish at an international school — all while surfing and also teaching yoga.

I’ve had the privilege to explore Australia, Hawaii, California, Peru, Mexico, Indonesia, Morocco, Spain, and many European countries, following my passions for movement, surfing, and cultural connection wherever I go.

Originally from the Czech Republic, traveling has opened my perspective, taught me so much, and continues to inspire the way I guide others. Today, I share these experiences through yoga and Spanish teaching, retreats, and programs, helping others move, learn, and connect with the world around them. Currently, I teach at the Prague Grammar School, bringing mindfulness, movement, and language into my daily work.

A Glimpse of New Zealand

A Glimpse of New Zealand

I was based in Auckland for one year, traveling almost the entire North Island in my very first mini van — which I even lived in for the first two months before starting my work as a Spanish teacher at an international school.

New Zealand is an amazing place: empty, clean beaches, incredible surf spots for beginners and pros alike, friendly people, lush green landscapes, and breathtaking nature. Every day was an adventure, both on the waves and off.

Maple Tree Adventures in Canada

I spent almost two years in Canada, based in Vancouver, surrounded by both the ocean and mountains — yes, the mountains also call to me! Squamish and Whistler offered challenging hikes, climbing spots, and breathtaking views, while Vancouver Island and Tofino revealed some of the most stunning coastal landscapes. And yes — you can surf in Canada too!
